Description
5 virtual saxophone lessons with Zach over 3 months. The first 4 lessons will be sequential (ideally one per week) then the 5th lesson will be a check-in lesson 1 month later to answer specific questions.
What we cover in the First 4 Lessons
- Sound & Methodology
- Technique (how to master the saxophone)
- Expanding your ear & creativity [this will likely involve the sound combination workbook]
- Learning repertoire & growth [this will likely involve the maintenance practice routine]
After this 4 lesson sequence, you’ll know the basic of Zach’s approach and will have the basic foundations of limitless growth.

Continuing virtual lessons after this point address the individual path, but will likely involve:
- Transcription
- Composition
- Repertoire
- Technique
- Language
I believe that music is a back and forth between technique and creativity. When you can do everything you hear, you need to work on expanding your creativity. When you can hear more than you can do, technique.
Policies
Please note, cancellations and reschedules require 24 hours notice. Any cancellation or reschedule within 24 hours require no accommodation and will count toward lessons received (if lesson 2 of 4 is cancelled, it will still be counted as given). Zach will do what he can to accommodate, but is under no obligation to do so.
